Our flagship material is a show-stopping mix of dense Asian hardwoods that arrive in Portland as transpacific shipping crates carrying steel railroad track. The punishing conditions of heavy cargo and rough seas give every board a rustic look that is truly unique. Designers love the long lengths, punctuated by vertical jet black lines where the tracks sat on the crates. We rescue this wood and give it new life in Jakarta Rustic tables. Our master finishers are experts at getting just the right combination of weathered style and wipe-ability.
We design all our reclaimed wood tables around the needs of heavy-use environments, and we finish them to withstand constant spills and wipe downs. They are perfect for restaurant, office and home use.
