granary plank – smooth face naily

We reclaim and manufacture locally on the West Coast, so we see all sorts of amazing wood while we are in the field. We’re always on the lookout for abandoned warehouses, shuttered granaries and creaky old barns.

This paneling is a mix of doug fir and pine that is loaded with nail hole character from its prior life as a structural beam in an old granary building. The dark holes and black oxide stains create a vintage look that tells its own story when you see it. Pulling all those nails is difficult work, but it’s worth the effort to craft this beautiful flooring and paneling. It’s a great option when you want a rustic look but need the performance of a smooth surface. The material is precision milled to be install easily while remaining true to its industrial origins. Mix widths and lengths to create a look all your own, and matching beams and tables are available.

Each one-of-a-kind wall will have its own unique character and amazing story that will speak to you.
