Siberian Spruce Paneling: Straight from Subarctic Russia
Subarctic Russia may be a frigid and harsh place for a tree to take root, but it sure does produce some gorgeous wood. Here at Viridian, we’re so impressed with the beauty of Russia’s spruce and pine that we’ve turned them into reclaimed wood paneling.
Our Siberian spruce paneling begins its journey to America as shipping crates that are loaded with heavy cargo and sent on a rough overseas journey to the U.S. Once we salvage the wood – which is a mixture of spruce and pine – we mill it into reclaimed wood paneling, leaving enough rustic character to hint at its difficult past.
This combination of spruce and pine paneling features a lovely light cream color with tones of brown, gray and occasional amber pitch streaks. Our Siberian spruce paneling is also:
Customizable. Siberian spruce paneling is flexible, which makes it easy to customize. It’s available in a wide range of thicknesses, and we can mill just about any profile with a short lead time. Whether you prefer a vintage, weathered look or something more clean and modern, we can accommodate your style.
Easy to stain. Our Siberian spruce accepts stains uniformly, allowing you to create a custom look.
WindWorn texture. Siberian spruce paneling is available in our unique WindWorn texture, which is reminiscent of an old, weathered barn.
