European Beech

Big Box Swedish furniture stores might lead you to think Beech has a mundane grain pattern. But our reclaimed European Beech has far more character, and it is still an easy and versatile material for designers to work with. The distinctive iridescent ray pattern and occasional dark vein of spalting gives this product a sophisticated, subtle texture. It provides a light and fresh look that can brighten a traditional space or add warmth to a modern interior. Its light color also accepts stains very evenly. It is the perfect hardwood for a variety of high traffic areas. Viridian’s reclaimed beech comes from global shipping crates used to import windmills from Europe. All of our products are Made in the USA , locally manufactured in the community it was reclaimed in.
