Big box Swedish furniture stores might lead you to think Beech has a mundane grain pattern, but our reclaimed European Beech is bursting with character!  Its blonde-tan palette with occasional veins of brown and peach provide a light, fresh look that can brighten a traditional space or add warmth to a modern interior.  Distinctive iridescent rays and occasional dark veins of spalting give European Beech a sophisticated, subtle texture.  Viridian’s European Beech is reclaimed in Portland from global shipping crates used to import windmills and other products from Europe. It comes as 3” strip or mixed width plank up to 6” wide.  This wood is extremely durable, perfect for commercial or residential use.
