Our new engineered flooring line was unveiled at Greenbuild 2102 in San Francisco, where we were also announced a Top-10 Green Building Product from GreenSpec and Environmental Building News.  We are thrilled at creating this new line. Philosophically, it is an incredibly efficient use of rare materials, easier to reclaim at the end of its useful life and has the added benefit of being VOC-free and ability to be used in many new locations since it can be nailed, stabled, glued or floated.

Engineered flooring isn’t exactly new territory for Viridian; we’ve made engineered to order for individual projects for some time. So when we expanded our line, we put a lot of thought into the details.  The flooring features a thick wear layer for plenty of future use, a durable and VOC-free polyurethane prefinish and a very slight microbevel on all 4 edges for quick and seamless installation.  It is also reclaimed and manufactured in USA, so you can expect excellent quality and short lead times on our most popular materials!
